We have Ak Mogulla and a huge staff. Same staff that identified portal last year HS 24 and 25 and 26.
Thats not the problem, I was being serious, we probably dont have the cash to make the same splash as last year.
Those same boosters paid out close to 150 million for a new football facility and the buyouts of two coaches....and then....boom along comes NIL, could not have happened at a worse time.
We spent our money on HS kids. Just have to pick and choose our shots in the portal. And now that we are paying freshmen, you can bet your arse we are gonna be putting them on the field. We can pay a big sum for a decent backup edge for a year or utilize Waller, I say roll with Waller, same for a lot of these positions.
Definitely need an OT and a couple of interior DL for rotation, seems like that is the focus.
And if we hang onto the 25 guys, heck we already have our interior DL committed
