At the very minimal I’d be on the phone with the New Mexico St qb right now to come in with a chance to win the job
There was nothing special about that guy. lol
He had a pretty weak arm and not exactly a bully running the ball. He executed the gameplan but I believe we have soomeone on our roster that can do that.
Yall are going to have to stop running from adversity for shining new trinkets every time you see them. That New Mexico State QB got bullied in his bowl game. 11-25, 58 passing yards and one interception against Fresno State. So if we got him, more than likely yall would then be wanting the Fresno State QB. It is a fricking cycle with you idiots Just stick with someone.

what we need is a gameplan worth executing, and im not confident we have a coach who can come up with one

The gameplan yesterday was hot garbage and the worst one I have seen all year. It is one thing to be lifeless in playcalling, but what I dont like is playcalling that puts the QB in a bind. Gus was maddening with this. He would literally call slow as molasses predictable pass plays or two route pass plays that even Sean White said made the "QB look like an idiot out there."
But Hugh did the same stuff that puts the QB in the bind, aka not actually help him. Run it up the middle on first and second, and then expect Thorne to throw it on third and 9? That is a fine way to jump start the offense! I am tired of seeing only the defense able to make adjustments after the initial shellacking

There was that one with the Iron Bowl but has there been another one?

Cam Coleman day 2 MVP at the Under Armour practices. Him and Perry have both been good so far.

Saw on the Twitter CHF was recruiting and not involved in the bowl game plan.
Posted on 12/31/23 at 2:05 pm to ShredSquatch
Only involved once they got to Nashville. So 2-3 practices.
I think we only practiced like 9 times. Most of the first 6 multiple players missed with the flu. No excuse just how it went

Yeah, let’s just stick with someone. Let’s bring back the ghost of Gabe Gross and stick with that. You have to find somebody worth sticking with, but I’m the idiot?

Jang, I’m tired of that. Understanding CHF was cruitin, what are the other Of coaches doing. That offense was trash, looked like we had zero plan. we’ve seen this 3-4 times this yr.

I with you brother, but in 2 years nobody will even remember this shitty bowl game loss. With that being said I don't wanna hear anymore excuses next year about not being involved because of recruiting. You gotta do both.
Posted on 12/31/23 at 6:47 pm to ShredSquatch
Every head coach has to do both, if he can’t do both at a high level then he doesn’t need to be in his current position. Also he landed Edwin and Amaris, struck out with KJ, LJ, and Echols.

In the current world of opt outs and transfer portal losses before bowls, I don’t mind a HC saying frick it and trying to get a couple flips and locking down players like Thompson. Unless you are in the 12 team playoff these bowl games mean nothing anymore. I would bet even the 12th and 11th teams in the playoffs will have opt outs next year.

It’s a double edged sword on the rebuild.
Freeze could have stayed in Auburn and put everything into winning the bowl game and finished sound 14-15 in recruiting. He didn’t and we are at 7. Granted that’s only a difference of 2 players but what is better for the program?

Corch, BS. Lead,! It’s a bunch of excuses. It’s a weird way of taking heat off the asst coaches. What was Caddy, Monty, etc. doing?

I noticed Mike Matthews looked really good. Dude has moves. I am surprised UGA let UT steal him out of GA.
Also noticed that Cam Coleman has such delicate hands. He can catch the damn ball which will be refreshing.

Amon definitely needs work, BUT he's going against the best of the best. Cam has the ability to be a 750+ 5TD+ guy as a true freshman. Crawford looked good
