They definitely upped their offer after losing the QB. Auburn was probably willing to pay more but I’m sure there was an amount the family was comfortable with.

I have a family member who is a UGA homer who told me that exactly last year. Kids don’t go to Georgia to get NIL money. They go there because they love Georgia.

Read threads on the recruiting board. They all say the that. UGA doesn't give big NIL up front. They wait and see if you produce. Thread after thread page after page.

If you believe this in 2023/2024 I don't know what to say to you. I will say that if every school is offering 1million then yes, after that it's about the place you like the most. If you believe that a kid would turn down more than 500k to play at Bama or Georgia for nothing you're absolutely insane. I've met these wack jobs

If the money was similar, you really cant say his decision was bad. UGA has done a much better job putting guys in the NFL than us lately.

What does this even mean? A credible insider is an asset. We want them and need to hold on to them.

A lot of message board insiders will bring info. Then when anyone challenges that info, they start saying things like “well maybe I just won’t bring the info around anymore”. So then people start groveling to the guy to make sure he stays.
It’s the natural message board progression and it’s sickening to be honest. Luckily things are usually allowed to be more hostile around here so it tends to happen less.
Chex may or may not have sources. But if he takes his ball and goes home because people call him fake then I’d rather him hit the road than it to turn into that. Message board insiders deserve to be questioned for eternity.

The reality is the schools that are ‘DBU’ always get the best athletes… there’s not some magical drill or technique that’s being taught at a place like UGA, lsu, fsu, etc. over other places.
