It’s not about the loss. It’s about getting better. We will never be any better than we are now with him.

You seeing last game telling me Thorne is the problem is giving me Bo Nix Deja Vu. He completed 15-19 with one huge drop. He also led the team in rushing.

Thorne is no Nix but he did his part yesterday while the teammates let him down.

I remember when people said that WR screens and dump offs didn’t matter. 15-19 for less than 150 yards. Name me any of the top 7 QBs in the SEC that would’ve lost that game yesterday?

In order to compete in todays game, you need a very good QB. Almost elite. He is neither. He may not be the reason we are 6-5 but the lack of offense under him is a big part of it. Its him and the receivers but he has been bad and he is not what we need to compete with our schedule

Amen. Anyone trying to lay the blame on Thorne don’t know shite about football. He was the only player that even appeared to be trying. Rest were being bitch slapped all over the field.

Please stop the insanity. Thorne is an average QB nothing more nothing less. SEC average. Our WRs are G5/FCS level other than Var and maybe Burton as he matures.

Out OL however improved if they play a DL with a pulse they crumble. DL exact same way. LBs are bottom 1/4 of SEC level. DBs are top 3 SEC level. Running backs are mid to upper half SEC level.

That’s is. Games are won and lost at the line of scrimmage. We got our asses kicked. Bottom line! Accept it. Move on. Total team loss

Nobody was. It was a statement made on the season in general.

He was overall terrible all year against most of our better competition. We need better. Much better. And it was that way before yesterday.

FIFY, but he’s definitely part of the problem. I’d lay 65% of the blame on the defense’s inability to get off the field yesterday.

He’s a mid SEC level QB put a decent game plan and some players around him and he’d be fine for a 9-3ish type season. He’s a stop gap QB. Same as the next portal QB to see who can win the job between Walker White and whoever our ‘25 QB is.

We missed on a lot of portal guys this year hopefully this portal season we hit at a higher rate.

I had us going 7-5 the entire way and never wavered. We will most likely fall short of that. Glad I’m not a gambler and took AU at 6.5 on the season. I know some early spring bettors got AU at 5.5

With that back to your regularly scheduled recruiting program.

All that to say it was a team loss on both sides of the ball.

No matter if they on the throwing end, the running end, the catching end, or the defensive side of the game.

And if anything yesterday showed 'the-world' there's early playing time to be had on 'the-Plains'.

I've always believed that anyone who donates to any charity, church, school (AU included), etc., is a sucker. I donate time to the boys/girls club building stuff, but never money.

Just did OTV.

Fat dude w/double-chin and blue sport coat is probably lol.

We rushed for less than 70 yards. We have no offensive line and Thorne was our leading rusher.

This is an OL and WR issue.

Without money, your time is limited to talking. I'm not discrediting talking but it's still just talking.

Edit:

What I said was wrong. Volunteering time is more valuable than money.

Is there a bible verse here?

I outreach everywhere I can, just not $$. Last time, wife had to put a pain patch on my back. My other buddy said, only one? Sweat equity.

Do you work for United Way?

Anyway, OTV, yall do what you want. This is one thing I can "invest" in and maybe see some payoff. Feels like an EV Jetski company IPO, but at least not some strip mall church, or other fake charity getting it.

Double-chin guy (meme of preacher behind tree w/ hands)

(just saw borotiger eidt - all good )

Appears no recruit in attendance showed any negatives about the game yesterday in where Auburn stands for them. Just a loss to those kids. I actually think one said off the record shite happens. That’s what we want is players who think they can change the program

May not have hurt but definitely didn’t help. Regardless, these kids know the shape we are in at this point. We just need an electric atmosphere for the IB and to not look like complete arse.
