The reason people are like they are is because their crimes are treated lightly. Pedophiles get limited time and are set free. People need to be shown that there are consequences for their actions. That they aren't going to get to stay in prison for 20 years nice and comfy while the person they hurt or their family never recovers.

If only there was some political system that you could participate in, electing folks who hold similar views.
