My perception is it's only the ones that can't cut it that don't like him. Those willing to work as hard as him and meet his undoubtedly high standards seem to have massive respect for him.

I’m a Saban fan as far as his old school coaching style goes, but in all fairness I’ve read of assistant coaches saying he very tough to work for. And that’s putting it mildly. But I guess the benefits outweigh the misery.
