TCU is going in dry and Stetson is going to throw a huge tantrum on the sideline.
I do think a lot of people are underselling TCU. They will be a tough out. If Georgia takes them lightly, TCU will beat us.

Stet would punch Duggan in the pussy and it would be over with.

That explains a lot. He seemed way too dumb to be anything else

Texas hillbilly (1) thinks that a one-score win is an arse whipping and (2) can’t distinguish between 2019 and 2023. Congrats on your meaningless bare victory four years ago.
You are a fricking moron. By the way, Kansas.

Who is Auburn playing this week? Oh yeah, basketball school! Stick to that.

You mean to tell me a team that looked great against average opponents all year played somebody good finally and didn’t look so great all of a sudden?

Both Georgia and OSU are pretty close in talent. So it shouldn't be a big deal that it was a close game.

I think the “talent gap” is a bit of an illusion based on how Patterson built TCUs roster. They do have a bunch of 4 Star guys scattered around the two deep. Though a lot of their roster is built like a track team. Patterson used to say “there’s enough speed in the DFW to field a championship squad every year”. He would recruit track times and size, then figure out your position once you got on campus. Even Duggan was a hurdles champion. Patterson just couldn’t provide the structure & coaching necessary on the offensive side of the ball to consistently win. Though TCU would consistently produce combine freaks that would get drafted highly year in and year out. Credit Dykes for steering the sports car in the right direction. I think you’ll see another TCU freak show at the combine this year.

The David & Goliath narrative the media is pushing only benefits TCU, and it’s just not reality. I would be upset if I was Kirby.

Granny and her canasta club could probably beat Texas. Granny can throw a mean football in addition to being able to lay down a strong hand at cards. You don’t want to play poker against her!

24/7 Team Talent Composite
Always has been a joke.
Cincinnati was 54th in "talent composite" least year but had 9 players
drafted...3rd behind UGA and LSU.

We are 5-0 vs Top 30. TCU is 5-1. Speaking of that loss, how did K-State do in its bowl game ?

It is a stat without context.
And when used without context, it is a joke.
Upperclassmen impact games more than underclassmen. One would almost need to use a talent composite per class. Or talent composite per snap to actually provide context. I.e. jimbo's #1 recruiting class has a huge sway over the talent composite. But they are all true freshmen and play like it.

It is a joke and nine players drafted off that team in one year is impressive for Cincinnati.
It just shows that Cincinnati is getting every ounce of talent from that team.

Or they just evaluated talented athletes that flew under the radar for a multitude of variables. Maybe they didn’t participate in camp circuits, maybe they’re from a region that isn’t scouted as throughly, maybe they don’t have a definitive position, maybe their growth potential was underestimated etc.
