Good Lord lol ….what’s the difference btwn “uncharacteristic pick from Stetson” and “ the Defense had the perfect play called”?
I thought UGA fans were nauseating before they won their first tittle in 40 years but they somehow got even more nauseating lol
NB4: yes i know Florida sucks

Okay. The Defense had the perfect play called. Ohio state still lost. Lol.
Georgia played a poor game, Ohio state, especially stroud, played an amazing game. We still won.
Every time a team beats another team in a big game there are complaints. Injuries, refs, the weather, etc. But here's a primary example:
Do you remember the horrible call on Rutgers for illegal forward pass RIGHT after star RB Greg "The Wolf" Kirkpatrick went down with a knee injury in the 1943 Eastern League championship? Ofc you don't because losers whine in the short term and winners are written into history.
Hit your damn field goal.

Not exactly a Herbie fan myself, but what did he specifically do last night?
He was objective and complimentary/critical of both teams and players as the situation called for.
I’ve learned that’s not good enough for many LSU fans and evidently for others as well.
For some announcers are biased unless they sound like the hometown radio.

The 2018 SECCG? Or maybe the the UA-UT Natty?

Nah, just pissed how it ended. Great game.
It was a great game. Ranks up there with the 2012 SECCG and the 2017 Rose Bowl game. Great games that went down to the wire. Your team showed up and played very well. They definitely belonged in the playoffs.

Ohio State outplayed Georgia. Should have won that game.
Oh?
Georgia had more rushing yards.
Georgia had more passing yards.
Georgia got more sacks.
Georgia got more Tackles for Losses.
The major category that Ohio State beat us in was TOP.
How did we get outplayed and why should Ohio State have won the game?
People go by their feelings way too much and forget the facts of the game. COULD Ohio State have won the game? Yes. But Georgia played as well or better than Ohio State and found a way to win.

Oh, I don't know.
Alabama fans ignoring equally devastating injuries to Georgia's players to claim a moral victory. Where have we seen that before?

Florida fans forget how long they went with no titles, but like to scream 40 years at the top of their lungs. Seems odd.

I rewatched the game last night, alcohol free and had a different take than when I initially watched it. Saturday I felt like Stetson was off, made some bad decision, missed reads, etc. I thought we should have run the ball a lot more to wear them down later in the game. I did think our D played well and hit very hard.
Last night, I thought we had a good game plans and execute properly. We were playing a talented, loaded with stars team that we sports fans derided due to the Michigan loss. I don’t think we were outplayed. I do think Kirby outcoached Day with the 2 time outs he called. Both of those were game changers.
I don’t mind if people have their opinions on the game. All of you would take the W just like we will. I think the better team won but OSU has a very good team that really came to play. Makes for a lot of conversation.
It’s great to be a Georgia Bulldog!

Kirby alluded to this in the post game interview. He was not pleased at all.

Yeah losing the TE that averages 200 yards and 1 TD per season was a devastating blow!

Buckeye fans need to ask bama fans how it feels to lose a game on the last play. Point being, bama knows that in the SEC, a team has to play & win 60 minutes of football. And am pretty sure the Buckeyes had a chance to win by stopping that last, game winning drive. They didn't, UGA made the plays during that drive TO win the game.

That wasn't some Cinderella, that was fricking Ohio State hitting on all cylinders. You get down 2 scores in the second half, 99% of the time it's all she wrote. UGA played like a stud to get back into the game. They scored too early.
That last drive for Ohio State was just weird across the board... 2 UGA injuries, giving OSU 2 extra timeouts. Then Stroud's run, I thought it sealed it. Then UGA pushed them back, and I thought OSU's coach and QB panicked a little... would have been insane had they sacked him at midfield on that 3rd down play.
That poor kicker. 50+ is a long kick, but you expect it to be made at this level. Or at least, not shanked so badly.

Of course if Bama loses on last play it don’t count. We all know that, thats only reserved for Alabama.
