2000 Alabama vs Auburn in Tuscaloosa Mid 30s with heavy sleet at kickoff which turned into a steady rain with temps in the mid to upper 30s. Would have been more tolerable if it had been in the upper 20s with snow instead. That and a miserable Alabama team that year that lost to Auburn 9-0 that day.

That was the same day as the State vs Arkansas game in Starkville. It did the same exact thing, but snowed a little early, then sleet, and finally rain and 35 degrees. I wasn't prepared at all. It was supposed to clear out and get to 50. It didn't, and I had no rain gear and only a long sleeve tshirt and jeans. At halftime I got an order of nachos with extra jalapeños without a drink in order to get warm. To make it worse State could've won the West, but blew a 10 point lead to a 4-5 Arkansas team. Had a game winning, very makeable FG blocked on the last play, and then lost in OT. At that point I didn't care I just wanted heat and to get off my wet socks. About a month later I attended the Blizzard Bowl in Shreveport between us and the Aggies. Even though it was colder, 27 and snow instead of 35 and rain is much warmer. Another OT game, but the good guys won this one.
