Georgia wins or even somehow loses a game, they're in.

Tennessee to have a shot will need to win out and hope for chaos from the other conferences. There will probably be some chaos. They need Georgia to win the SEC.

LSU needs to win the SEC and hope for some chaos too.

Ole Miss needs Tennessee and LSU to lose one more each and of course must win out. Not likely but in the realm of possibility.

The rest of us can hope for good weather in Orlando. That's about it.

I’d be happy with some good weather in Birmingham

LSU doesn’t need shite except to win. Losses are irrelevant to SEC champ

Maybe. Maybe not. A 2 loss team has never made it. Should a two loss LSU make it? Probably. Will the committee feel the same way? Who knows.

LSU had 2 losses going into that year's Natty run.

No SEC team will be ranked higher than LSU if we win out. Zero chance.

They aren’t leaving the SEC out

You’re stupid, no way you jump Tennessee after the stomping in your stadium

That's because we've never had a 2 loss SEC Champ in the playoffs era. Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it won't happen.

If LSU finishes 11-2 with a SEC CG win and Georgia finishes 12-1 with an SEC CG loss, Georgia will still be ranked #1. They'll have easily earned the mulligan.

I don't see how LSU will be ranked over Tennessee though if UT finishes 11-1. That 40-13 loss. LSU needs some chaos.

I think it should/would happen, but until it happens we don't really know how the committee will react to it. For example, how would they rank an undefeated Ohio State, undefeated TCU, 1 loss Clemson, and a 1 loss USC v. A 2 loss LSU... LSU should be in over Clemson, but it comes down to the committee.

I guess all of the pundits (espn/sec/fox) are stupid as well. They have stated that if LSU wins out they are in the CFP.

Don’t think OM needs a Tenn loss. If OM wins out and LSU loses to either A&M or Arky then OM heads to Atlanta. A win there and they trump Tenn since they are the SEC champs. 12-1 OM > 11-1 Tenn.

I'll still be ecstatic with a NY6 bowl. But it's nice to have a chance at a playoff berth, i wont lie to you.
