What is with everyones hate/dislike of Cody Schrader being RB1. Im more than happy with his performances and he secures the ball. Is it just cause he wasnt a top recruit at the position so yall dont think he is as good as the other RBs?

He was pretty bad the first few weeks. Even now he’s Pretty inconsistent, like peat, which is my only issue. Having young back should help him and peat.

I like him; better north/south runner and doesn't fumble

He's the better back and makes less bone head plays.

Young being back will keep Peat on the bench, as evidenced Saturday.

I meant to say young will help peat or Cody, whoever it may be any given week.

I'm not sure we will see much more of Peat. The risk/reward just isn't there to justify giving him many more carries. His fumble problems aren't worth it when you have other guys who are waiting in the wings.

He’s clearly the most consistent back and can handle a primary workload
I’m not sure what happened to Peat. He was playing well, and then all of a sudden he is completely awful in the Vandy game. Not just the fumble, but he was making ridiculously bad reads in outside zone all game.
I don’t think he’ll be buried for the rest of the season, but his snaps are going to be severely limited until he proves otherwise

Im not so sure, you're probably right we wont see him for a little longer but we will see him again. One of his fumbles was very costly - obviously, but only 2 fumbles isn't like a major issue

Unless he was hurt, him not seeing the field at all last week was pretty telling to me.

I like Schrader, his story, and the pure grit he runs with - don't get me wrong.
But he is a poor mans RB... wouldn't be starting on most of the SEC rosters we face.

He’s an effort guy that just doesn’t have burst. Yes. He holds into the ball and gives 200%, but his talent isn’t great and he has no ability to get to the edge.
Young should see all perimeter carries.

Where is the 4 star freshman?

Young is back, thats bigger than any RB story line.

redshirting is my guess. probably wasnt ready for SEC football.

He came from a part of texas that has really bad football. Its like getting a 4star from Kirksville. Will need time for this league.

Damn, is that an insult to him or Kirksville?
