No charges have been filed and I doubt they will be although it's definitely assault. He hit 2 people that day and in the case of the girl, she wasn't even in his way. He goes out of HIS way to hit her.

I expect charges to be filed by tomorrow morning. Look for Burton to be extradited to Knoxville soon after.

It's not like that. She's side steps out of his way and he reaches out (goes out of his way) to smack her. This one isn't accidental contact or even due to invading space. This was a child being mad who forgot he was a grown arse man and can't go around smacking people.

Good point, it's up to Alabama to win all the games in the future, as it's the best way to get Tennessee fans to follow the rules and not have their school fined $100,000.
