That video of Burton is shocking and disappointing to say the least
I never recall Burton having any incidents like that while he was a Dawg
But as soon as he goes to Bama…BOOM he’s all over the news for a heinous act caught in 4K for the world to see
A good number of Bama fans are condoning and even defending his actions
Very toxic from the fanbase too
Is this a sign of some toxic culture brewing in Tuscaloosa?

They still speak in glowing terms about that fat bastard, Cody, that starved his dog to death.
He literally starved a chained animal to death.
He literally starved a chained animal to death.

Stop. Every team has some guys who shouldn't be on the team.

This and it isn’t always clear until an incident who they are…

Yet we thought just their fans were trashy.
Now their players are violent and trashy
Now their players are violent and trashy

Maybe he should've shown some more composure, sure.
But maybe if tens of thousands of drunk kids (and grown adults) that didn't play a single down of the game weren't: rushing the field of play, harassing them/getting in their face, sticking their phones 2 inches from their face, etc. then the players wouldn't have to be on guard from others?
Idk. Just a thought

I am glad that Burton moved on from the dawgs
He didn’t contribute much on the field either so it was an addition by subtraction big time when he left!

Mac Jones also got a dui and they speak about him glowingly

Maybe Kirby is better at covering up bad behavior

Mark Richt has lost control of the Alabama football team.

Maybe
Or maybe Bama lacks discipline
That’s why they are one of the most penalized teams in the league
They are poorly coached, temperamental, and have low impulse control (like much of their fan base)

I don’t know him or anything about him as a person or team member. I don’t think this incident represents the totality of him as a person. What I will say is it was a bad decision, he should and must face consequences for it and those are likely to suck in a big way for him. I have a young adult son and people that age make big mistakes, hell their brains aren’t even finished developing, but facing consequences is part of growing up.

In 4k? Only video I've seen looks like it was filmed in 1975 on beta.

Probably because UGA covers up better than most.

Why a player would ever do that is beyond me. 8 million cameras all around. 12 million watching. So dumb.

the pitfalls of the portal
Ricks non factor
Burton non factor
Harrell non factor
Steen has been getting beat all season
Sanders would have been nice if Bama kept him for defense
Better than Tonto

You got a link to a better version? I've only see some grainy thing that, while it looked bad, lacked some detail.
I'd like to see any newer version.
