Same thing was happening with off-weeks before someone showed some data to Mal Moore and he raised hell about it to the SEC.
Everyone was trying to schedule their off-week before BAMA and there for several years it was ridiculous how many teams we had to play that were coming off of bye weeks.
They added a rule that you supposedly wouldn't have to play more than 2 or 3 conf teams that were coming off of bye weeks.
We've been getting shafted for years on opponent's penalties as well.

Still waiting on why the refs ignored Saban yelling for a timeout causing us to get an offsides free play (even reached for his whistle at the last second) I've posted this shitty video recorded during the game from my phone before but needs to be seen.
Best part is, he doesn't even throw the flag for def offsides and he was almost hit by them. Saban even starts to complain lol
