I don’t understand why you’d expect a site hosted by fans of a school to not be biased towards said school. We aren’t talking about the Supreme Court

That feature has always been only mildly entertaining IMO, probably because we see most of that content here on a daily basis anyway.
But for example, for the author to point out that he's a "civil libertarian Democrat with a multiracial family and a dead gay brother," during his semi-coherent tirade, the whole thing just reads as painfully odd to me.
