None of them know anything. Definitely not a Bama alumni. If so Bama has a spy on staff. If espn wanted the story out then they would have gave it to someone reputable and believable.

Kiffin presser just happened. I am paraphrasing, but have the quotes mostly right:

quote:

"Coach have you discussed with your players anything about the Auburn noise?"

Kiffin:

quote:

"No I haven't. Maybe I am wrong in not doing so, but I never have. Our players will treat this game with a pro mindset. We worry about what we can control, so no we don't even talk about that."

I don't see any denials. No "pine box" statements or anything. Ole Miss fans are delusional if they believe Kiffin isn't at least entertaining it. He isn't even denying it. (Not that denials mean anything anyway as history has taught us over and over).

Also, I read an older article about Kiffin. He was complaining that he pays 50% of his salary in taxes, pays 34% in alimony, and a few percent somewhere else. He said when all is said and done, he gets to take home only 9% of his money. So, yes, Kiffin is a coach where a few extra million would make a difference. That happens when you have a big alimony bill.

If this came from anywhere, it came from Kiffin….ie Sexton. No one on Auburn’s staff is going to know who Cohen is negotiating with.
