Is lanning too green? He would recruit well. Is Norvell ready for the next step? Aranda, Kiffin and Franklin are pipe dreams

It’s a sh*t show because of who we hired, hire the right guy and that goes away

I don’t think Aranda is a pipe dream as long as he’s a Baylor.

I’m all in for Aranda or Mullen. Tired of being mediocre

Mullen? That weirdo couldn't get it done at a place were top recruits are within walking distance.

We would never get Aranda. First of all, right now he's too good for us. We have massive issue with the perception that our program is disfunctional. We play, and recruit against, the two top programs in the country. Aranda will buy his time, build his resume, and wait for a job that will give him full control without the baggage. That stunt our PTB pulled with Harsin and his assistant doomed us from getting a big name anytime soon. Hell, we had to settle for Harsin! Best we can hope for, is someone who is an up and comer, or in need of redemption. Pie in the sky wishlists are a complete waste of time. The reality of the situation is, if Harsin is fired, you are looking at someone like Freeze, Bill Clark, or Kevin Steele. It is what it is.

Feldman was saying recently that Aranda loves Baylor. Wants to keep the family there and loves working for that AD.

Ask yourself this: Of all the coaches out there, we hired Harsin. Wonder why that is?

HCs always say that. No way he sticks around in a dead conference. Dan Lanning is interesting… he may not want to come here tho and get his shite pushed in by Kirby every year lol

Aranda's next job will be somewhere with a much better reputation than we have right now.

His advantage was paying players out in the open when it wasn’t allowed. That’s not an advantage anymore

Well he absolutely knows how to coach and utilize talent. Proven commodity.

Hey I don't see how we get any coach that'll be able to recruit otherwise

I don’t know. He won 10 games once at ole miss and 10 games once at Liberty. I don’t think he’s a bad coach. Just don’t understand the infatuation there. Feels like another meh hire

What about tyson helton from western Kentucky. Hes done pretty well the last few years. Seems like an up and comer. If we strike out on the other bigger names, he may be a fall back option

You think winning 10 games at Ole Miss is easy? Liberty? He took a guy who couldn't get off the bench, at Auburn, and put him in the NFL.

Winning 10 games at Auburn doesn’t seem to be easy either And I’m not sure that Malik Willis being a backup QB is a qualification for being Auburn’s head coach. Harsin put plenty of guys in the NFL that were ranked well below Willis and we see how that’s worked out

I’m out in Freeze. He’s an average coach with a few good moments. Anyone in college football could have hired him the last 5 years and nobody seems interested
