I will be going up to my first AU homegame in a number of years for LSU. My eldest is a freshman at AU - living close to the north side of campus area.
Not very far from her place First UMC Auburn has a grass lot that you can reserve a spot for $45. Is that my best bet - or do any of yall know of any other options / have any advice?
TIA

Went to my first game in about 10 years or so last weekend. I parked by the track because we had an event there, but aside from places I saw advertising parking, I'm not sure how you get into any of those lots nowadays
I was shocked to see how much some of those places were charging. More power to them though...

Price wise, $45 for the LSU game is a pretty good deal if it is over somewhat near downtown, if i'm thinking of the lot correctly. There are other smattering of spots, but they'll be just as expensive, if not more.

We will have a place for you if you only have one car. Corner Mell & West Samford. Familiar with Swingle Hall (fisheries bldg)?

The university is slowly taking the parking lots of each school and turning them in to paid season parking pass. No longer free. Couple that with Tailgate Guys who are supported by the university it is a no win situation for the average fan.
Just like the Federal Government the university is fat in the wrong areas and waste money daily. We are Paying for past and present coaches, large athletic support support staff.

I agree with you....since I have been in Baton Rouge for so long, I tend to take my son to a game at LSU once or twice a year - they are doing the same thing. I have to park so far from campus and make a long hike just to get over there...it is crazy.

Last trip to Red Stick we were on the top row of the upper deck on east side and have to park our past Walk- On's.
All of the schools are doing it.

Arrive early and you can park for free at Felton Little park. Walk to JHS ~ 1 mile.
