Just baffles me how one can be so dominant in SEC play and not get over the hurdle at the next stage. I hope he keeps at it and finds an opportunity.

The Auburn injury fricked him up just like Tony Conner tearing his ACL did. He was never a burner receiver though and to be a truly dominant receiver in the nfl, you have to have elite speed. And he never has had that

Hate it for Treadwell. From what I remember, he had issues running routes when he was in Minnesota. Was hoping he could carve out a role with Jacksonville.

That injury was really horrible. Just glad he got an NFL check for seven years. I hope he saved his money and is ready for a new career because he ain't making it in the nfl.

Jerion Ealy cut by the Chiefs today as well.

I'm sure glad Ealy was a Rebel and he was very good for us. I wouldn't call him great during his time at OM. He was pretty sturdy and a good teammate as far as I know, but I think he is probably a little small for the NFL unless he's just blazing fast and he's not.

Hell he had route trouble in college. He was just physical enough to overpower the 5 yard bump and run coverage bullshite

Ngl… Treylon Burks gives me heavy Treadwell vibes… it may just be me

Reminds me of AJ Brown personally.
And he was drafted by a team that while they are on the conservative side, he will be a prime piece of their WR group.

I don’t think anyone thought he would be dominant. But it’s surprising he can’t even make a roster.

He has been signed to the Pats practice squad.

Treadwell was such a beast at OM, hate it for him

He should have come back for his senior year but I get that money was on the table and he already had experienced a freak injury.

7 years is a great pro career

There was really no reason for him to come back for another season.
He was a 1 round draft pick as a junior. He could have only hurt his stock by coming back.

I thought about it though.. the guy is prob doing okay with practice salary and benefits. I think I read once you reach veteran status which is 2 years, you get a bump in weekly or seasonal pay. I think you also get medical benefits, etc for you and your family. Prob also has more time to do fun shite.

Laquon bumped from practice squad. Carroll’s comments:
“ I’m anxious to see what Treadwell does when he gets a chance,” Carroll said Friday. “He hasn’t had a shot to do much, but we’ll see how he fits in. He seems to be very well equipped. He seems like a pro. He runs his routes really crisply. He’s really attentive about doing a number of things. He can play different positions for us. He’s big catching the football. He looks like one of our guys, and he fits in very well.”
Would love to see him make something of the opportunity, but I understand he could also be cut tomorrow or the next day.. it’s a business.
