I don’t want to be that guy and I don’t post rumors or bullshite from Twitter. My parents are in Tuscaloosa to watch the basketball game tomorrow night. They are staying at Hotel Capstone. They met someone that is very new to town and he was very confident that Williams is signing with Bama. Don’t want to throw too much out there but is definitely someone that would know.

Apparently Mike Gundy's kid, Gunnar, just committed to Alabama.

Good because QB is the last position we need to add depth.

Sounds like its between us and Oregon for Muhammed too. Doubt he goes to Texas since they return both starting corners.

Muhammed cousin plays for Texas and I read they are pretty close. Su we will see.

The person that they talked to wasn’t DeBeor but knows him really well.

Hotel Capstone is UA's go-to for short-to-medium-term lodging for consultants and new big-time hires on the academic side when they just need them in town ASAP.

Why use someone else's when you've got your own.

6-4 190...DeBoer likes size at flanker and split end...we're probably going to see us offer more people who have size instead of mostly just prioritizing speed.

Question on a couple dudes from Thompson. I called Thompson at County High tonight. And guess who comes in to watch???? Ol Bowl Cut Snake Oil Kirby himself. Had another uga coach with him, very possibly Trob, I will have to look at a pic. There was also a South Carolina coach and another coach but I never saw where he was from. There are two guys on Thompson they were watching. Can someone tell me about them, name, year, position? Just curious. I never looked at the book to get names.

Even that no good Barner ChexMix has conceded the fact that we’re getting Ryan Williams. Post from him on the Barn board

quote:

RW is bama bound. Price tag was too high so were moving on. Bama used the money that was freed up by other players leaving and dumped it in Ryan's lap so they would avoid embarrassment.

I do like that approach. The quick guys are great but we have t had a group of small guys work it great since Smitty, Waddle, Ruggs. Remember Norwood over the honey badger in the NC game. That was fun to watch.

There’s room for both. He’s not exclusively about size, but there is something to be said for it when your offense wants to attack 1-on-1 situations.

I wouldn’t put an ounce of faith into this clown. If he happened to be right with actual intel then that would mean this solely is about money…if that’s the case then it ain’t over. All it would take is Auburn changing their mind and upping an offer.

I’m not celebrating until he signs. It’s looking good, though.

In this current era there are players that want to go to a certain school and they just want their NIL needs met. It’s not always a “biggest offer wins” scenario. Not the case with every player by any means but players still want to be comfortable where they are at. They want to be in a good situation.

Some offers are too good to pass up, though.
