Felt like we had some dudes ready to step up in the secondary but I’ll take it. Obviously very talented. Honestly his college tape at USC is kind of concerning but hard to judge when that entire defense sucked.

LT Overton and Domani Jackson were both star studded HS recruits. We’d kill to have both out of HS so these are two exciting pickups. Development is all they need.

Knew there was a good reason he was at practice today. Nice!!

Sayin rocking no. 7

I hope he sticks with it. It’s a good look. Cant think of any other QB we’ve had that’s worn 7 off the top of my head. Jay Barker?

We’ve seen a number of safeties this year but other than Amos I don’t know anyone on the current roster that has shown anything at corner. Granted Jackson has been underwhelming at SC but hopefully we can get him coached up.

I really think he's playing out of position.

He's a safety playing cornerback!

Saban said he was looking for online guys. Probably a nice development and depth piece.

You’re saying Jackson is a safety?

Cant be a safety if you really not physical. Well Eddie Jackson wasnt the most physical either.

has anyone actually watched him in USC games? I know I haven't. Just being on a bad defense doesn't mean he's trash, would have to watch those games and see if he was a good player in a trash defense or if he was part of the problem. Only thing I know about him is he was a track star in high school, he defended 4 passes and has 33 tackles this season. 4 passes defended would put him 5th among our defensive backs and 33 tackles would put him 5th among DBS on our team, just ahead of Kool aid. Does he have low tackles because they didn't throw his way like Kool aid, or because they did and he isn't good at making stops? Then you have guys like Arnold who has 11 passes defended, why did they throw at him so much? Because they threw away from Kool aid, but Arnold was awesome and made them pay for throwing it his way. Stats for DBS are hard to interpret

How does D. Jackson committing affect Jake Pope? Or how’s Pope looking in general? Looked good in Spring.

Jackson is a CB and Pope is a Safety, so I imagine Jackson joining the team will have minimal impact on Pope.

The problem with corner is so many other people on the field can make you look like a jerk even if you do everything correctly. All I know is that Saban takes 5-star corner prospects and turns them into 3 year players.

I think when all is said done Jackson will probably move to safety opposite of Downs and Ricks will grab the other starting cb slot with Amos but there will probably be a big rotation of guys.

Sounds like Jackson may be the star safety by the conversation. Some think he’s a corner. Others think he’s a safety.

Looks like Georgia is losing two highly rated DB's to the portal.

AJ Harris in the portal lol Where is he going this time ?

highly ranked DB Nyland Green also.

Now that I scroll through the portal rankings m U lli GA n is losing a lot of players to the portal.

I was told Brock Vandagriff was the next Tom Brady

But they are grabbing their next white WR from Vandy.

Starting to get a Patriots love vibe with white WR's from Kirby.
