quote:So you want to go with 2000 - Saban's first season at LSU.
The SECW is head and shoulders above the East since Saban started at LSU.
Auburn's winning percentage vs. the East since 2000- .587
Auburn's winning percentage vs. the West since 2000- .600
Looks like the East is a bit tougher for the Barn than the West.

And Auburn played the gauntlet of the SECW and then played UGA the 10 game of the year. It had its effects. Look at the SECE standings and list the record of the 2nd place team every year (SEC record). Please list ties to show how many teams were at the top.

Every excuse you’ve made slants the numbers harder against your argument.
Nice .304 winning percentage vs Georgia since 2000, BTW...

You don't understand the effects of playing in the West and even your stats support it. AU would play LSU, MSU, Ark, Ole Miss and later A&M before the UGA game. UGA played UT, Vandy, UK USC, UF then Missouri before the AU game. Fresh legs and fewer injuries make a difference. AU and UA play each other the last game. UGA plays GT. Big difference. Same with LSU playing Ark.

And yet in the last 5 years Auburn is 4-9 against east teams.
The west is head and shoulders above the east, and the east is head and shoulders above Auburn.

Makes perfect sense. Now tell us why we are undefeated against Auburn since we started playing earlier. Auburn exhausted after Fall practice?

At least Brian Kelly got to the stage. Multiple times Kirby lost to a sloppy Bama team out of straight fear.
Peregrine out coached and out physicaled those pups twice.

are you insinuating that UGA/Kirby haven’t????

Lmao, and so has LSU. In fact, LSU is a more experienced Bama loser than we are. And Brian Kelly has never beaten Bama

Ummm no. If that was the case then they would have won. Do you even know how football works?
This post is brain dead retarded, and you should be ashamed of yourself.

With a post this stupid, it’s good you rarely post.

Look at the talent difference last year: 6-6 vs NC, yet it as still competitive. AU lost to some very poor UGA teams in the past due to injuries late in the season. Fresh legs vs one leg.

Is that what they call 24 point losses these days?

Wow. You can come up with some excuses.
Alabama doesn't seem bothered by playing tough schedules. Auburn is soft, I guess.

4 possession game?

AU plays the toughest schedule in the SEC the last 40 years. UGA has played in a very weak division and still has very little to show for it. Look at GT and UT the last 20 years, probably the lowest level of football for both programs history. Those were two of UGA biggest rivals. Clemson had a similar schedule, yet they produced.

So let me get all of these excuses right:
1) Auburn plays in tougher division
2) Auburn plays tough schedule
3) DSOR played too late in the season
4) DSOR played too early in the season
5) Auburn not the Flagship
6) Auburn not as talented
7) Auburn has injuries
Sounds to me like Auburn just can't compete nd doesn't want to compete.

Clemson had a similar schedule, yet they produced.

Didn't y'all lose at home to Germy?

Not excuses, just wondering about UGAs accomplishments. If Bama, LSU , Auburn and even Ark was in UGAs shoes, the trophy case would be much fuller. To this day I have never unstood why UGA treads water when they are in the perfect spot. I not trolling when I say that, I'm sure I'm not alone. Same with Basketball.
