What an experience. I'm glad to finally see something like this in Oxford. There were a lot of people waiting a very long time for this moment. This is what college sports is all about. It was a pretty packed-out house last night. The speeches were positive and uplifting. Thank you to all of the other fanbases on here for all of the congratulations that have been passed along. The SEC is a true brotherhood. I hope each of you gets to experience something like this.

How are you awake this early when we know you are completely hungover?

Thats great. Congrats on the title. A CWS title is one of the more difficult titles to win. Glad you got to experience it.

Arkansas baseball definitely deserves one. There is part of me now that is rooting for y'all.

Mississippi is a baseball state now. The only other program I’ve seen completely take over Omaha like State and Ole Miss did is LSU.

i think we deserve it as well, but thus far it seems the baseball gods havent found favor with us. Im just about tired of "he pitched the game of his life against us" when it matters. But thats for another time and this is your congratulatory post so, congrats again.

I think March Madness is the hardest. So many D1 teams. And y'all have done that. I would love for Auburn to win in Omaha. Baseball is my favorite sport.

Ole Miss, generally speaking, can get bent.

With that being said, I am happy for (most) of the OM posters on this board, because that feeling can’t be topped.

Shoutout Henry, Landmass, TornadoAlley, pank, TM, OB, swayze, reggie, and all you other jabronies I didn’t mention. Enjoy it

I can see myself in the first pic

Such a great evening. What made it best is how organic it was because of lack of time to prepare. Didn’t feel like a marketing ploy, just a good old fashioned home town celebration.

Man I have much more respect to all teams that have won baseball Nattys, or pretty much any Natty.

Watching Ole Miss thru an entire postseason run, damn you realize just how hard it is to win the whole thing.

Going 10-1 against the best teams in the nation is incredibly difficult. I was fricking exhausted by the end of it. I can’t imagine what it’s like for the players and coaches

last year, the starkville mayor turned her token speech into her patting herself on her back for 10 min. one thing i envy is the relationship the university has with oxford. in starkville, the city has a combative relationship with the university. they dont realize how lucky they are. its a pity...oxford really embraces the university.

Seems kinda insane to not embrace the university, no?

I didn’t realize Starkville was like that

I'm not the biggest Tater fan but last night he kind of set the tone for the politicians when he said something to the effect of "I'm not the smartest person, I went into politics. But I'm smart enough to know that you didn't come here to listen to a damn politician."
