If you take away that 22-6 game against Arizona where they scored garbage runs late. Our pitching staff’s ERA was probably under 2.

Our hitting faltered at times during the CWS. Luckily our pitching was lights out the whole way. Was really cool to watch.

We also gave up some garbage runs to Arkansas in the game 1 massacre...

Yeah, I'd imagine we're closer to 1.2ish without the garbage time runs

MedDawg won’t like this

I have no idea where anything we did almost came from (compared to most of the season at least), but I'm sure glad it did.

To be fair, they didn’t even face a National seed their entire time in Omaha.

What’s lost in that is that this is also the highest the NCAA run environment has been in a long time due to decrease drag on the ball. There were 38 players with 20+ HR’s this year. There were only 38 20+ HR seasons from 2018-2021 combined.

Lol. At least the NCAA didn’t force us to not play national seeds, unlike a similar situation

Complete domination after Hoover. Very impressive.

Are you a Tennessee fan or something
To be fair, the national seeds all lost to non national seed opponents before we could play them.

I’m just speaking objectively. Y’all are still National Champions. Nobody can ever take that away.

Why don't you explain your troll attempt

The K/BB ratio is the most telling to me.
Another random stat, DeLucia was one inning away from breaking the all time CWS record for innings pitched in Omaha without walking a batter at 17 innings or something like that. Some scrub named Roger Clemens holds that record.
DeLucia only got to 3 balls twice in that Arkansas elimination game to go to the finals. Just insane.

Take that shite back to ED. At least we won with a full slate of teams and not a shortened COVID championship.
