It’s crazy because a few weeks ago there weren’t enough balls to feed all our scorers. Now nobody wants to take a shot.
It a perfect set up for NSJ to come in and get a Notea green light.

Agree. I do think he's being extra cautious, which I can't blame him one bit for

Run the offense Stockton/Malone style with Devo and Mitchell/Graham. Devo is a good passer and can hit those mid range shots. Have Council and Walsh be slashers who the defense has to account for while it is also having to help on the pick and roll. Have Pinion hang out behind 3 to create space and be an outlet if the mid range/inside is stopped.
Was barking this all night after Graham going off and they just wouldn't work it consistently.
Hopefully Graham showed Muss something to build around last night.

Anybody watching 100 seasons of razorback basketball tonight?

It's so hard to muster up any more shits to give knowing this is just another coulda/shoulda/woulda season going forward. I'm just so beat down from all the injuries across every sport. It's like God picked the most critical pieces of each team and picked them off.

It is easy to assume that without the injuries everything will be fine but this team is suffering from the big hype and are in a slump. It doesn't mean they are bad but just not top 10 material.
If this team was really that good then they wouldn't have lost to LSU, Auburn and sure as hell wouldn't have lost to Alabama at home.

Muss said in his post game interview that this is basically the toughest hill he’s had to climb since he’s been here under the circumstances.
We have a strong team but few scorers. If we could present the threat of perimeter shooting without losing defense we would be much better.

I just relax knowing we have the right coach, and he's going to bring in elite talent every year.
Oddly the worse this team does, the better next year's roster might be. Looks like some guys are starting to fall down the draft, outside of AB who has moved up

Vannnover shooting 36% on 3s this year at 4 a game ??

He'd be shooting 0% for us because he wouldn't see the floor. If Graham's defense is not up to par for Muss...

Do we really lose much defense when Pinion is in the game and does his shooting ability not make up for it? I want to trust Muss, but Pinion is a good player and it just feels like he is part of the answer here. We have to have someone who will make defenses respect us from outside.

Hard to say, he got yanked for fouling on a 1 on 1 semi fast break drive where he was totally isolated.
Meanwhile Council and the rest of the team besides Devo were getting schooled 1 on 1 in the half court the entire game by Sears and co and continued to play serious minutes.
Muss seems to watch a different game than me most of the time.

That play wasn't anywhere close to a fast break.
Seemed like Muss was hesitant to play him thinking that he wouldn't be able to defend Bama's athleticism. He gets in and then immediately gets attacked and loses badly.

I like Pinion and like his intensity when he’s playing, but the opponents seem to make a point of attacking him. Plus they cover him enough to make him ineffective on the perimeter.
I hope he can find a niche out there, we need some scorers…..

Yeah that's the other problem, if you still only have 1 shooter just put your best guy on him and well there you go. And with where he is at right now, most SEC teams don't even need to put their best defender on him.

Kamani is the only guy on the team that can set a sealed screen.
Hopefully we watched a bunch of Bama tape on how to do that with pinion.
But in my heart I know if he plays at all we’ll just set him in the corner and do a crappy version of dribble drive.

Ricky council is a terrible passer
That walsh charge is 1000% on council

At this point, I’m starting to entertain the possibility of NIT.
