It absolutely changes that. You play these “fluky” tournaments to see who is the better team.

Look, here’s the problem. The SEC wasn’t as dominant as they have been in years past. That means the talent level wasn’t there and Tennessee appeared better than they actually were. It showed when the Irish put that arse in check on your own turf.
