The big 12 is a corpse, yes, but that has less to do with Nebraska vs OU ending and more to do with the homewrecker we just invited into the conference.
Texas teams need to all be in their own little conference where they can bask in each other's arrogance.

Only one annual game is a mess. Fully half the teams or more in the league will get an annual matchup that isn't their fans biggest game of the year.
Oklahoma-Texas
Ole Miss-Miss State
Alabama-Auburn
Georgia-Florida
That's like the extent of teams that I think would get their #1 choice. Everybody else would get an annual game that isn't their biggest game and almost all of the 8 teams that did get their first choice also have another big game that they'd be giving up too.
