But that is exactly what we are discussing.
One model preseves rivalries.
The other model pushes mediocre crap half of the time.

Keep the conference scheduling to 8 + 1 (conference championship game).
Preserve the 3 permanent opponents.
UGA will visit Arkansas when we visit Arkansas. I dont need it rushed through at the expense of games that really matter.

That's the whole discussion though. There's not many SEC teams with two or more rivalries in the SEC and some teams don't agree with letting that dictate the schedule for the remaining teams.
