He acts no different than Bruce Pearl. Both are bitches.

Auburn bat flip lands at base of UTs dugout. Tony throws it back to Auburns side of the diamond. Low T women of the rant go into fits of hysteria
Did the UT guy hurl the bat into the sea of Auburn players?
That’s really all I want to figure out

He did not.

I thought DVH was gonna do it last year after Kevin Kopps sonned them.
Coaches talk. I guarantee you none of them hold this clown in high regard. Mainieri was always very complimentary of DVH.

He is a great baseball coach and LSU really needed one last year, and baseball is as big if not bigger at LSU then any college in America, yet they couldn’t even think of dealing with all his antics.
That’s world class a-hole status

He is immature...wants to be "one of the guys"instead of a leader.
He's the financial equivalent of "new money" in terms of his demeanor.

Sounds like Tony was being a good guy returning the bat that almost nailed him?
I never realized this board was so full of Pearl clutchers. Wow.

The bat was thrown at the dugout by the auburn player in the midst of his home run trot. The bat came to a rest after it bounced off the netting to the front of the dugout that players was leaning on. Vitello picked the bat up and walked to home plate and tossed the bat back towards the dugout under handed. He can’t help the players got in the way while he was trying to give there bat back to them after the auburn player threw the bat first. Bottom line is if the Auburn player don’t throw the bat against the UT dugout then Vitello never ends up with the bat to begin with to attempt to give back to them.

The bat never hit the dugout, even after it rolled 10 feet. Vitello didn’t come within 5 feet of home plate and threw the bat after seeing players a scattered everywhere. The amount of mental olympics being done to support this goon is very entertaining, though

Are you blind. The bat was stopped by the netting/facing of the dugout that the players lean on. You can clearly see Vitello pick the bat up off the netting. Go back and watch the video.

I gotta be honest I can't believe you typed all of this out and believe it.

It was not a simple flip off. As bad as I dislike Tennessee, the bat would gone into the dugout without the net. Auburn always plays the part of the victim oh so well.
