Most long term libertarians are really Liberaltarian. A few exceptions exist but the lower ranks are just “I’m the smartest person in the room” do nothings (other than complain). Neal Boortz sold me on the party in Ga but it didn’t take long to see that actually winning races was at the bottom of their priorities. We have a real old school libertarian in Knox county. He won on name recognition using his own money, WWF/E superstar Kane. No state libertarian party is willing to support any candidate with time or money so he did it himself.
