I will admit I am wrong if he shows me but what I saw from Miller regardless of what went on doesn't point to him ever having success in the SEC.

Sacked 4 times, 7 false starts and 11 TFL allowed by the OL, backs averaged less than 2 ypc

Tough to see any QB doing well with that, especially in his first start

Rumors on other sites that Rashada has not enrolled as of now and there is some problem possibly to do with future NIL. I hope that is fabricated BS.

there's another rumor that the Gator Collective has stolen money.

the original rumor on Rashada was that it was an admissions hangup (not academic related).

Rashada
Dijon
Eugene Wilson
Gavin

none of those guys are enrolled.

Miami SI guy is wording it "Rashada will not enroll at FL". Not sure if he is full of it or if Ruiz planned this the whole time. Ruiz made a comment after signing day FL was promising things they couldn't deliver on to recruits. The guy is a snake and would love to burn us.

if any of this is true, whether we're refusing to pay what we offered or can't pay what we offer, i feel bad for billy napier.

stricklin sold him a bag of goods and it turned out to be a sack of shite.

"yeah, we'll support you and give you everything you need. :fingerscrossedbehindback:"

i don't know if billy is the type to leave on his own accord and lose the buyout or straight up sabotage and take the buyout.

he seems like the former.

Yep you can't blame Napier for us having big money boosters not willing to compete some with the top half of the new 14 team SEC.

I thought at first it would mostly just be with the high school recruits which I could live with if you are getting #10 area classes but now that it looks like they won't even compete with the FSU's etc. when it comes to the good portal players in areas of need he is literally crippled.

I will complain about some of his game decisions but he cant do any better than this without the big booster support. We literally have an army of staff now to vet players in the portal but aren't getting hardly any needed good ones because the rich alumni wont play that game I guess. Unless Brown turns out to be a Trask gem without Rashada Napier is doomed.

I hope they can get all of this worked out because all that is going to do is hurt us with the next class.

Is there a chance if this doesn't work out will Napier resign. I mean what's the point of recruiting. these guys get promised a N.I.L from boosters then after a kid signs then they don't want to pay. If that is the case then (IF)
Then no coach is going to be able to get guys at Florida.

It's very Sad if this is the case. I hope not but let's see what happens

We actually got that lineman.

As far as Napier I know it would be walking away from a lot of payoff money for being fired after year 3 but if we aren't going to even compete with NIL with the top half of the new SEC the next recruiting cycle he is doomed and it might be a better career move to see if there is some good mid-tier power 5 level landing spot to show he is a good coach. With what the SEC is becoming with TX and OK coming on board and this NIL situation he is as good as gone after year 3 if they don't get Rashada here.

We just got a top ready to go offensive guard at least which is a real nice pickup - the one from Baylor I think.

Well we will have 2 maulers on the O line at least. Barber might have been young but that guy was planting defenders into the ground every chance he got and was playing at a real high level.

Everyone seems to think he’ll enroll by Friday.

I know this is the new norm for college football but guaranteed NIL for a incoming freshman that may not even see the field is the reason so many young guys transfer if they don't play as a freshman.

I'll always support the gators but it's really hurting my favorite sport to watch and that is college football

It's either 100% bad or it gets worked out and its nothing. Nobody is guaranteed to be a good player but if we lose Rashada I don't see much of a chance of Napier making it as things would just snowball. It would literally take 3 star QB Brown pulling a Trask for it not to doom Napier I think.
