Fun fact: This is Auburn’s 4th season with 25+ wins in the last 5 seasons under Pearl. Before Pearl, a 25+ win season has only occurred once in Auburn’s history, the 98-99 team who won 29 games coached by Cliff Ellis.

Bruce is an awesome coach. Word of advice...don't let him host any BBQs.

Which is complete crap that Tennessee let him go for something so trivial. I don't even think in today's NCAA world he'd even get in trouble for his cookout.

Pearl is a fantastic coach. I've always been a big Pearl fan.

I don’t think it was necessarily the cookout itself but that he misspoke when asked about it. I’ve learned from lawyers and politicians that apparently you never lie, just misspeak.

Tennessee didn’t want to let him go. Tennessee had no choice to. They could let a coach have a Show Cause penalty for 3 years and still be the HC. Auburn fans will be worried if that UT jobs comes open again. I think Bruce will leave Auburn if UT offers him the job again and pay him what they paying Rick. I

Why would he want to return to the place that almost ruined his career as long as he has a good job? Doesn’t make sense.

If I were Pearl, and if Tennessee offered the job to me, I'd tell em to give me a day to think about it. Then (if I were Pearl), I'd take a big grizzly crap in a bag and next day air it to the AD.

Upon opening the next day air package, that would give Tennessee a definitive answer on whether or not he'd return.

Absolutely a 0.0% chance on that one.

I don’t think we would worry at all. He has been able to accomplish more at Auburn than he was able to at UT for one, and there are many more reasons to why it wouldn’t make much sense

Well yeah. Y'all know he'd hang the phone up. Hold on, is Sexton is agent? Sexton would at least parlay it into a raise for Pearl.
