Going to be interesting to see how our patience at the plate plays out vs the OU starter on Friday. He's averaging 6IP/6K/1BB per start, so if he's on his A game, we'll see a lot fewer free baserunners than last weekend vs Louisville. And they have a dynamite closer as well that can easily go 2 innings, maybe 3, so under normal circumstances, there's going to be a very small window to beat up any middle relievers they throw.

Regarding the championship odds, this team has continually found ways to surprise and exceed all expectations, so the oddsmakers putting us as the biggest underdog plays perfectly into what this team has been about all season.

Agreed! That's why I said "if I was a betting man." I was surprised Vegas had us with the longest odds, but this is nothing new. This team has faced long odds since pre-season conference predictions. We've clawed our way to the CWS and hopefully, this will just be additional motivation to "go win it all"
