I guess we'll have a February coaching search

I mean that seems obvious. Regardless of who was right or wrong, this program is now dead under Harsin. What player in their right mind comes here now?

Someone save a pic of his tweet so we can repost it when he deletes and tries to spin he was right

Thank you Captain Obvious
This just goes with the history of Auburn football. We can't have nice things.

We can.
We just tend not to keep them very long.
Thank God for Bruce Pearl.

I don’t know much, but I do know that JBoy knows nothing.

When the players started chiming in and some were for him and some were not it shows how divided the program is. It becomes a no win situation. He gone.

It’s behind the paywall but PM also just posted an article saying that Harsin won’t survive.

Harsin is gone I just hope they have there act together and get someone quick but more so the right person.

I don't think anyone would be surprised.
But the way this went down, it is hard to believe even his detractors would like this.

I was 75% Harsin wouldn't work
But this is embarrassing.
Step 1: Exaggerate a bunch of stuff, propose termination for cause
Step 2: University is forced to look into it/investigate
Step 3: Keep throwing allegations to the wall, racism, etc.
Step 4: Everyone comes around to the idea that Harsin can't continue because of the terrible situation, regardless of the investigation
Step 5: Investigation determines Harsin is an a-hole, did nothing close to termination for cause-worthy
Step 6: Dickheads who started this celebrate the school paying 15million dollars to can a coach who did nothing egregious
Step 7: KEVIN STEELE TIME BABY

You’re totally right. I legit thought Harsin was going to be 15-0 next year. JABA!!!

Pretty much nailed it. On the line for what 35-40 million the last two coaches? What a joke

Philip Marshall is worth listening to this time. The money guys are winning; and those are his sources.

This bugs me. The money guys will load up the truck for buyouts, but where are they on the front end? Why not pay a ridiculous amount to hire a new coach instead?
They need to show how deep those pockets are or take a time out.

You can't ask them to pay a 20 MM buyout then not take their opinions on the replacement. Seems like this is what AG did.

As much as I appreciated that Greene and Gogue did their own thing last year, this was always true. Can’t take the money and expect to give nothing in return.

I am not certain, but I thought it was the money that wanted to fire Gus. They got what they wanted.
