It is worrisome at this point that we are not winning some of the key battles. It seems Harsin may be a lame duck no matter if it is his fault and/or also the fault of the PTB.

It sucks, and the only thing that can turn it around is a good showing this year in wins and momentum, or I don't see him retaining the job with another 6 win season and poor recruiting results.

Auburn will have fricked itself again with a buyout and the burden of convincing a coach this is a great place to be. No coach worth a shite would be dumb enough to step in the role.

Not too long ago, Bama was a clown show. They were a lot worse off than Auburn currently is, and they ended up with Saban. So it’s really just a matter of good timing.

Seems to be a pattern.

Guessing, he was also banking on a winning season to interest recruits last year. And the nose dive at the end nixed that.

I will try my best to enjoy this season no matter what, but I agree with your line of thinking.

At this point, it does not really matter why --- all that matters is this recruiting will get us buried.

I hope it can be turned around, but I don't think winning will be enough --- and I am sure a losing season will be the final nail.

I was team Harsin even after the flop at the end of the season. From a 10,000 foot view, his days as Auburn’s coach are limited to a few more months after the debacle in January that crippled him.
