Boomer Sooner is a term from my parents generation. It means you’ll pay for the Boomer retirement Sooner or later.

The meaning changed connotation over the years especially after statehood when it became more a statement of state identity in a positive fashion......
But origininaly it refers to two types of criminals. Boomers stole land from Native Americans. .Sooners claimed land illegally early in a land rush area.....
Basically both are land theives

Actually, the US government took the land away from the tribes for siding with the confederacy.
