That was a nice analysis but I believe the question is more about how much to pay the players and not the coach.

Yeah, which is why I said I figured it was a troll...

But more to the point- I don't think attacking Wade for cheating is relevant, at least not anymore. No matter what you THOUGHT happened.

Johnny Jones had more talent here than Wade has brought to any one team. I want to say his best season finished with 11 losses. He had a team with the #1 player in the draft, and finished with 14 losses and missed the tourney.
You can accumulate talent, and if you can't coach it, you won't be a Top 25 team. And all you need now to accumulate talent, apparently, is the right NIL deals in place. Somebody somewhere is going to build an All-Star roster that will drastically underperform, because they don't have a coach.

Which is why you have to find the coach now; there should be NIL money in play for all big SEC schools. It's about expanding your footprint in athletics.

You gotta find your coach. LSU needs to hold onto Wade... he's had teams that could score with anyone. This year, he has a team that can't score outside of a dunk, for the most part. But they're winning because they play defense like a beast. I don't think anyone expected a Will Wade team to play D like this, but he seems to know how to do it. He builds a winning team from whatever talent you give him, styles aren't set in stone.

If UGA can find their guy, they'd see the same results.
