Ok both those screens were soft contact. He may have some medical issues with his head if that knocks you out of the game or gives you a concussion.

Damn he might have a concussion this time.

It would be a freak one if so, maybe a whiplash type thing, but didn't look bad at all on slow replay. Regardless, hope he's alright.

He’s got to have a history of concussions. Neither of the times he went down to a screen looked like it would have been hard enough to affect him the way it did.

Can you get a concussion without hitting your head?

I still don't think you should be allowed to wear yoga pants in a game tho.

Well, we can't come back from this with no guards.

He should really learn to watch where he's running, and not run full speed into much larger dudes so often

The first one at LSU was whiplash and injured his neck. Your head doesn't have to physically make contact with the floor for you to have a concussion. The whiplash literally can make your brain shake within the skull, causing similar symptoms.

And since he just got over one, he's at higher risk for another.

the screen was fine, but he was accelerating and was completely unaware of the screen, so no bracing at all.

Yeah, I'm sure it's the same injury again. Sucks for him and us. This was a good game before all our injuries.
