Has it not been documented that AU recievers under Gus ran three routes? He's no longer the coach.

How many nfl careers did Gus legitimately kill?

Did you honestly think he'd have an nfl career? Cleveland at least knows how to use him.

Yes, because if his speed if nothing else. Not like his football coach did much to help him

I didn't think he would make it but not a Swartz hater. Happy for anyone who makes it to the NFL. Could you imagine him though if he had a better qb and offense? At least double his career numbers.

Oh yeah. Still don’t get why receivers like him were signing with Gus still.

He, like other Auburn receivers, were drafted purely based on them being freaks of nature athletically.
Ricardo Louis
Sammie Coates
Darius Slayton
Anthony Schwartz
Seth Williams
Outside of SW above, all ran in the low 4.4 or high 4.3 range. They all had good verticals. They all had quickness. The problem they all also had, was that none of them knew how to run routes. Period. At all.

No development at the college level for sure. Swartz does look to have long term potential. Just from the couple games I've seen he is always making plays.

I still would've liked to have seen what he could've accomplished on the track had he not given it up to focus solely on football

I wouldn’t say he’s killing it in Cleveland
3 REC 69 yards and a TD tonight but before that his best game was Oct 21 where he had 2 REC for 22 yards

Let’s be honest here:
He was playing at AU. At the collegiate level he didn’t have a chance to look anything but mediocre.

Tonight was a good game. I've only seen a couple Browns games so the Oct 21st game was probably the other game I saw.

I think you may have misread his game logs
He had 3 REC for 69 yards back in week 1 vs KC, but didn't have a TD that week
Tonight I'm seeing 1 REC for 5 yards and 1 TD, and 2 rushes for 24 yards
But he was their primary kick returner for a few weeks!
