• Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman says his team has spurtability.

• Mercer, Arkansas was down one (54-53) with 9:41 to play before going on an 18-3 over an eight-minute span to claim a 74-61 victory. The Razorbacks forced seven turnovers during the span and held Mercer to 1-of-7 shooting.

• Gardner-Webb game was tied, 15-15 with seven minutes to play in the first half. GWU went on a 6-0 run before the Hogs answered with a 14-0 run. Ultimately, Arkansas would out-score the Runnin' Bulldogs 29-5 over a 6:41 span, putting the Razorbacks up 18 (44-26) at the 19:44 mark of the second half.

• Northern Iowa, Arkansas was down three (75-72) with 4:25 left to play. Chris Lykes his a 3-pointer to tie the game and ignited a 21-5 run over the final 4:10 to give Arkansas the 13-point win. Specifically, Arkansas was down one (79-78 with 3:13 left) before going on a 13-0 run for a 90-78 cushion with 50 seconds left.

• Arkansas has not has a double-digit run in four of its last five games but has still used runs to get the wins

• Kansas State: Arkansas' 8-0 run versus K-State came early in the first half with the game tied 2-2. HOWEVER, Including that 8-0 run and 7-0 run, Arkansas pushed its lead to 17 (28-11) thanks to an overall 26-9 run over 10:29.

• Cincinnati: Arkansas also only had an 8-0 run. HOWEVER, Down two (45-43 with 11:38 left), Arkansas used its 8-0 run to lead 51-45 with 10:15 left. Later, down four with 6:47 left, Arkansas had a 9-2 run to lead by 3 (63-60) with 3:53 left. Last, down one (67-66 with 2:31 left), Arkansas scored the final 7 points of the game for a the 73-67 win.

• Penn: Arkansas and Penn each had runs of 9-0. HOWEVER, Arkansas used that 9-0 spurt and turned a six-point lead into a 22-point lead thanks to a 22-6 run over 7:14, spanning 3:04 in the first half to 15:50 of the second. Also, during that 22-6 run, Arkansas held Penn without a field goal (one free throw) for 4:32 while having a 14-1 spurt. And, when Penn got to with 10 (66-56) with 4:1 left, JD Notae went on a personal 8-0 run to put the Hogs up 18 (74-56) with 27 seconds left.

• Central Arkansas: Arkansas did have an 11-0 un. The Hogs were down one (24-23) with 6:38 left in the first half. JD Notae, Jaxson Robinson and Stanley Umude hit consecutive 3's as part of that 11-0 run. To start the second half, Arkansas opened the frame with an 11-0 run to lead by 17. The dagger came midway through the second half with a 20-2 (including an 8-0 run and a 12-0 run) to put the game out of reach.

• Little Rock: Arkansas only trailed once, 3-2, but could only manage a 7-0 run while the Trojans has an 8-0 run. But, Arkansas 7-0 spurt was part of a 12-2 run that turned a 4-point lead into a 14-point lead with 57 seconds left in the first half. Then with 4:10 left in the game and leading by 9, Arkansas out-scored the Trojans 11-5 to close the game for the 15-point win.

• Charlotte: Arkansas had two defining runs to secure the 20-point win. In the first half and the game tied 14-14, the Hogs went on a 17-4 run (including a 9-0 spurt) to lead 31-18. In the second half after the 49ers got to within nine (73-64) with 5:46 left, Arkansas outscored Charlotte 13-2 (including a 10-0 run) to close the game.
