There are no ball hawks in our secondary. Mercer's last incomplete pass was an easy interception for the DB.

6 got torched a few times but he can return punts. 24 was lost out there and didn’t want to hit anyone. Hope we find pressure up front cuz they can’t hang on the back end

Yeah, I didn't see ANYONE on defense look like they wanted to hit a soul. Not one. If you want to win the SEC, you've got to love contact.

This is the first year in a while we don’t have an elite lockdown CB. Simpson is solid and there’s a reason we didn’t really hear his name, but the rest of the guys make me a little nervous. Guys at the end look disinterested.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. TJ didn't see a snap after the first drive of the second half. Ashford got that much of a look for a reason.
