The Jumbotron is good and bad

Went down for the game. It was great to be in Jordan-Hare again, but it was hot and there was no breeze so I had my wife pour ice water on my back! Yeah, such horrible play was no fun.
The jumbotron was very useful filling dead time during commercial breaks with program history clips and such.
However, during the game between plays it was constantly blaring "get loud with loud music." The problem with that is that it actually steps on crowd noise and makes making crowd noise useless. What's the use in screaming your head off, if it is over ridden by Jumbotron speakers? Better to put a mic on the band and the cheer leaders and let real crowd noise come out.

They don't show a single replay of anything either. It's ridiculous

Yeah. The replays are far more interesting than "get loud" annoying sound stepping on natural noise. I used SlingTV on my phone to get replays and analysis or reviews.
The refs really sucked. I think they should be investigated for point shaving with big gambling interests. Not the first time that's happened and I'm sure it won't be the last. Too many odd calls at strategic times while Auburn rushers were being tackled in the backfield.

Yeah, my sister-in-law was down there to see our nephew and it was her first ever football game. My wife and her sister got excited and then frustrated.
Nephew is in the flight program. Said it is a lot harder than he thought it would be. He went to one of the top high schools in NY and was a very good student, so that means something.

68 you’re a good soul and a good Auburn man. The rest of these toads on this board can eat a BOD.
Auburn is not easy. It was hard. I when back years later in life to get my MBA at UAB. I had a 4.0 without really even giving full effort.

I agree wholeheartedly. Fecking JumboTron is trashy with it's blaring noise. Why have a band? Why have cheerleaders.

We had our first Aubie skit last weekend. It was fun to watch. We also had a mini concert as well at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Im guessing whoever sings swag surfing was hired to sing. Pretty neat
