Was there ever an explanation from the top for pulling Hank Brown from doing a manageable Hail Mary?

I feel like it was a trick play that Holden screwed up. Assuming Holden can run faster. Probably a flee flicker type.

His throw to KLS was from the 31 to the 25 pretty effortlessly so yea he can throw it that far. My best guess is considering the throw on the previous play slipped out of his hand badly, they put Holden in who probably had a dry hand/towel and he just fricked up the play.

His hands were soaked. The pass directly before slipped out of his fingers and hit the ground. Did you watch the game?
