Yeah the Stanford kid isn't even going through spring. That told me everything I needed to know about him possibly "competing" for a starting position. Don't blame him for putting a Stanford education first if the NFL isn't your highest priority though.

Today is the rumor for both.
Singleton is the better player but Fields may be more important. Fields is tough sumbitch that is a very good blocker. Something our WRs did vry poorly last year

Atkins has 3 more years eligibility and Smith has 2
Not sure how important remaining years of eligibility are in today's portal world but for most of the time I have followed recruiting - that's a plus

If you are a QB and you are not going through spring practice - you are not going to be the starter unless you have generational talent.
