Pooch kickoff versus squib kick? Or just kick deep?

Since we were kicking from the 20, could we have sky kicked it making them fair catch it maybe on their 40?
That penalty hurt us, but it did not seem excessive.
Seth just threw the ball down. Not sure they call that in every game.

I didn’t see why we didn’t just get Carlson to boom it out of bounds and them get it on their own 35.

Yeah in HS if our kickoff coverage was awful we would just kick it out of bounds on purpose and take the flag especially if they had someone who was good back there.

It was the right call, IMO. Our special teams were absolutely horrendous. I do mean cluster frick putrid.
