Thank you to our troops serving and that served especially those that paid the ultimate price for our freedoms.

However since this is a sports board I wanted to use Memorial Day to remember some great “personal” Auburn moments.

Mine was the 1994 LSU game known as the interception game. I had broken my collar bone about 2 weeks prior. When Brian Robinson intercepted and returned it for a TD to take the lead the celebration was so crazy I found myself up about 10 rows with about 15 people on top of me it was insane. What’s crazy the next drive LSU threw 2 more interceptions. Robinson had another and while returning it fumbled and LSU recovered they drove down the field and threw a jump ball in the endzone and if I remember correctly Chris Schelling intercepted it in the endzone to seal the game.

Sweet and HE WILL SCORE! I remember that game. Mine was at the 1993 AU/Florida game as a kid and watching Calvin Jackson take an INT to the house. Good times...

I was in the stadium that game as well. I didn’t get to go to the ‘89 Iron Bowl but it’s hard to imagine the noise being any louder then every play that UF/AU 93 game. It took 3-4 days for my voice to recover from screaming every time UF broke huddle
