This isnt what happened. You said he did not get better in his career. He did. Last year at home he completed 7 passes all game so what you are arguing is already a lost cause.

You are not reading what I am saying. The stats (whether he got better or not, …if you say he did, ok, Not arguing that) improvement do not fix the fundamental problem that he was consistently bad at the most important times in the games.

Your rose colored glasses view of Payton Thorne is the real lost cause. I will not argue it anymore with you.

Stats got better but the playcalling got worse. Our offense looked lost every single game this season. They didn't appear well coached as a unit at all.

The subjective stuff you are arguing is a boring argument anyway. He did stuff through the twenties. He had untimely throws in some games, not really tonight but whatever. You want a hero and that's fine. I do too.
