I hear you man. To each his own

Glad your trip went well. Great pictures. My situation has really escalated lately. Looks like I will be heading south even earlier than I originally thought. Heading 88Tigers way in two weeks to set things up.

Not even sure how I will get all this done in such a short time. Going to be a busy boy for a while..

Be there at the end of this month to get things picked out. Looks like I will be moving down myself, the 3rd week of August. Wife to follow in a few months.

Anyone having a night? Having a little shrimp on the grill and actually a few beers while I watch them burn

Wife makes this yummy green sauce for shrimp and fish. Have it marinating now. Got the Primo warming up...

Spent the entire day packing. I have basically sold most of our furniture that we are going to sell. I will have a throw away party in a couple of weeks. Have a roll off ordered for a week. Then pack whats left

Was unable to sell my company so I am about to head south to look for some commercial space to run it from. Just a busy month so far.

Moving to Bradenton. Im going to rent for a year. Im hoping the market will cool down a little then I will buy something. Im actually hoping that it totally crashes. Will be the best thing for me.

We have been on this plan for a long time. I am excited its about to happen but man Its a lot of changes. Im winding down my guide trips here on Lanier. Been doing that for almost 25 years. We figure I have done close to 5,000 guide trip on Lake Lanier.

I found a commercial space in Bradenton for the tackle business. If its still available in 2 weeks and it looks like the pictures, that will be its new home. That will be one big hurdle out of the way.

Tomorrow I am sorting through all my fishing rods/reels/tackle and pickin what I am going to keep and what I am going to part with. That will be a full day right there. You guys will have to talk "recruiting" without me.

Very nice. I’ve had a lot of fun in the Bradenton area, have a friend from there.

Yea, I’ve been casually looking for a house for a while now, but it’s just dumb to buy anything at the moment. It will take a crash and I’m sure one is coming. We can’t sustain what we are doing, with the fact we are basically at an all time low for new houses being built.

Congrats on finding a space. Hope it works out for you. The market is on fire here. My son and his wife close on a house at the end of the month...overpriced but he was antsy and didn't want to rent anymore...I want to add on another garage but prices are insane right now for building...

It has to slow down man. No way it can continue. I made a offer on a house 6 months ago. Full asking price. It sold for 80K over asking. I just quit after that. Im not getting in a bidding war for a house. Not when I will be a cash buyer.

I will rent for a year then revisit it. Lots of good rentals at a decent price down there. Im OK with that for a while. This will probably be the last house we will ever buy. I want to get exactly what we want and I dont want to over pay for it

Yea I’ve been looking in an area that is basically all starter homes, and they are asking for 350k-400k. It’s unreal. These are starter homes that need a lot of work. It is a very popular area right now, so that doesn’t help but still. Buddy bought one in the same area 4 years ago, and it is one of the bigger ones around and on the nicer side, for 215k and that was above asking. He could easily sell his for at least 400k right now.

I put a offer in on a house for $550. Sold for $630. LOL. I quit after that.

Waygu ribeyes here. Fly fished all afternoon in a local creek. Caught a bunch of sunfish and one little bass. Had a couple of good ones rise on my fly, but not take. Need to figure that out.

I fricking hate Florida in every way, shape, and form.
