Ending the season with two ranked wins including one over your biggest rival would be huge.

-makes us bowl eligible
-ends season on high note vs duds last year
-gives appearance of upward trajectory especially combined with the type of recruiting class he looks like he’s bringing in
-puts Bama on a clear downward trajectory (which also helps recruiting)
-probably buys him a little more patience next year

Our fanbase is very mood swingy right now. Need to go into the offseason with a win.

If we somehow win, it will be a pivot point for both programs.

Absolutely. I'm not going to hold my breath but that damn shite show of an Oklahoma game gives me some hope

It’s a road game.

They have athletes.

Performance varies.

I’ll watch after golf.

Milroe killed us last year.

I will not miss anymore basketball ban betting any outcome.

The A&M game didn't change anything for me about Hugh, but it makes everyone feel a little better and likely helps him solidify a stellar class. Beating Bama, although I don't expect it, would be the first time in recent memory Auburn finished the year on a surge rather than a whimper. Even a well-fought loss probably does that to some extent.

It'll be a while before I entertain that Hugh might be a championship caliber coach. But I think he's good enough to stabilize the program - which we need - and I think we're stuck with him anyway. So I'll take all the positive momentum we can get.

Even though it’s the Iron Bowl, I think Hugh is playing with a bit of house money, Most didn’t think we would beat aTm and most don’t think we win in Tuscaloosa.
More chance for upside this weekend and I hope they take advantage of it.
