That is how its done when it comes to Gus or anything you want to prove a point. You only focus on the bad.

Hmmmm.... I wonder who made the call to have Pogue work with the Bucks. Maybe wanting someone to possibly help them with an outside pass rush.

Coach G's DL has never been a huge sack group, but they are rarely manhandled in games either. Generally his DL's are good at getting tackles for a loss but not great at Sacks.

Look for Pappoe and Tutt to be around 6-7 sacks each this year. Just a guess of mine because our front will need the help no interior pass rushers that we know.

This is the most outrageous thing I have ever seen.

nsidering this year does not count against anyone's eligibility, theoretically '21 AND '22 could be monster years, if everyone did return and use up their full eligibility.

Not necessarily. Every team will sure get the added experience, but not every team will be returning the same amount of players or units over that time

If you disagree then I feel pretty good about my prediction.

Pappoe has already mentioned when he was in a presser about being more free this year to rush the passer.

Now If Big Kat and/or the Bucks are getting 2-3 sacks a game you can disregard the prediction because there will be no need to bring others for pressure. Personally I haven't seen anything to make me thing Big Kat, TD, or Hall can get consistent enough pressure not to bring extras from othe positions.

Since 2010, these are our only players to record over 6 sacks in a season:

Nick Fairley
Corey Lemonier
Dee Ford x2
Carl Lawson
Jeff Holland
Nick Coe
Marlon Davidson

All of these are defensive linemen.

We also haven't had multiple players record over 6 sacks in a single season since 2010.

It's okay not to know shite about football.

It's not okay to pretend to be some kind of goddamn guru while not knowing shite about football.

Go hit some fungo to your 3A baseball team, Corch.

Cassanova McKenzie had 5 sacks in 2015. If we use Pappoe to rush the passer more, it can be done. Pappoe is a freak. Cassanova wasn’t.

And Corch knows his football. He ain’t gonna walk away from an argument either so this conversation is bout to spill over.

Yeah, and Cassanova played snaps at end because Lawson was injured.

He is suggesting that we will have an OLB and CB both have 6 sacks a piece this year. That is fricking dumb.

You are retarded if you think that will happen. Like Bo Nix 50 passing TDs dumb. Or Shivers rushes for 2000 yards dumb. Just absolutely ludacris...

I doubt Tutt gets there. But if we don’t have have pass rushers step up we will for sure use Pappoe as a pass rusher. We absolutely will have to. I started an in season thread last year railing against our pass rushers. And I’ll do it again...

Yes. We had no outside push last year.

Our defense was good not elite because of that one weakness. The defense in the bowl game was average at best.

Ok buckfama got me I know nothing about football and I will back down from my predictions... let me alter them just a tad. I'm sure he will still think it's ignorant but...

Our outside LB's (Pappoe/Zakoby/etc) and our Star's (Tutt/Peters/Tennison/etc) will have 6-7 sacks each this year from those positions. Hard to say what an individual player will do considering covid and tracing could take some players out 3-4 games depending on time and recovery.

Only gonna say this one time and hopefully it's the only time that it needs to be said.

For us that have special needs children (one of my stepson's is Intellectually Challenged; IC; with and IQ of 52) thinks that anyone that uses that R word themselves are the R word.

A classy individual as yourself probably uses it and the N word both. You know because neither of those people one of which you are trying to describe have no control over how they were born whether it be mental capacity or color of their skin.

This is just a PSA for anyone. Just like the N word the R word makes you sound just as ignorant and hopefully people start to realize that its just as wrong to use and isn't cute anymore.

I can dream.

In a 10 game SEC schedule, would 25 to 30 TDS be the ceiling?

Go figure our LB's from 2019 had 6 sacks on the year. Our Safety's had 4. Yeah I can see no reason to bring any pressure from anywhere else with no Marlon or Derrick around...

Predictions are made to be bold not to come out with what we know will happen. If all you point out is the obvious to make you think you are a football guru then why even make a prediction. I'll be sure to remember this topic trust me I don't forget.

I would say for sure 30 would be the ceiling that would be averaging 3 per game. I don't think that will happen unless we toss it around 40+ times per game. We run the ball so much when we get inside the 30 hard to rack up the easy TD tosses.
